Make a kite!
Want to get your kid outside and running around? Want to get yourself running alongside her? Make a kite!
Boo and I had tons of fun making a kite recently, and it was unbelievably simple. We followed the Bumblebee Kite instructions from this website. You take a sheet of paper and crease it down the middle. Take the corners and fold them (but don’t crease) into the center line a couple inches from the top and staple them there. Make a hole a bit below the stapled corners and tie a length of thread through. Go run around outside and figure out how to make it fly! So fun!!!
Seeing the joy on my daughter’s face when she is really running is one of the biggest joys in my life.
